Another useful tool that you can use to find out more about Linux commands is info. info reads documentation in the info format (a special format generated usually from a Texinfo source). Info pages usually give more detail information about a command then man pages. Info allows navigation and links between pages.
The syntax of the info command simple, just type info followed by the command, in this example info mkdir:
